HEALTHY ME CHALLENGE
During the last few weeks, pupils from Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 had the challenge of collecting healthy food labels. Year 1 won the challenge, by collecting a fantastic 129 healthy food labels. Well done to all the pupils who took part.

The Hive sports day, with five ambassadors helping.
YEAR 6 PGL VISIT 2018
The children said of their recent PGL residential trip that it had strengthened their friendships, made them face their fear of heights and given them confidence. Fun was had by all.
WILLOW WEAVING
BAGA LEVEL 8 AWARDS
All of the children in Y1-6 have worked with Alison, from Allegro Gymnastics and we have successfully achieved 163 BAGA Level 8 awards.
We celebrated with a gymnastics showcase and school have bought all of the successful children a BAGA 8 badge, using Sports premium money).
THE DEEP - SCHOOL OF THE WEEK
In addition to our pupils enjoying a fantastic visit to The Deep in Hull, look what arrived in the post! Year 1 and Year 2 were thrilled to have represented our school so well and receive a certificate celebrating being 'School Of The Week'.

ST GEORGE'S DAY/BRITISH VALUES
British Values Day - 23rd April 2018
What a super day was had by all on St George's day, as staff and children alike dressed up as a 'Great Briton' to explore and celebrate our British values. Take a look at the slide show below featured on The Scunthorpe Telegraph's website.
MATHS CHALLENGE
On Wednesday 27th June four pupils, from Year 5, attended the Baysgarth School Maths Challenge.
Nathaniel, Luca, Maddie & Kiera battled against seven other schools to complete fiendish maths challenges. Rounds included acronyms, relay and the famous structure challenge!
The team worked very hard all day and this paid off when they were presented with the winners trophy.

ARTSMARK SILVER AWARD
We are proud to announce that we have been awarded the Artsmark Silver Award.
Artsmark is an award for schools who demonstrate their commitment to embedding arts and cultural provision at the heart of their school. The new Artsmark Award is forward looking, requiring schools to set a specific arts and culture related priority that aligns with their school development plans.
Well done to all of our staff and pupils who have been involved in pushing our way towards this award.
